Counting over a decade of working, learning from, and interacting with our CSR partners and beneficiaries, we tailor our programs and initiatives to the needs of our times:
Inaugurated on May 19, 2013, this state-of-the-art knowledge center is fruit of our long-standng collaboration with Gawad Kalinga (GK). Located at the GK Enchanted Farm in Angat, Bulacan, the HCGI was designed and built by architects and engineers commissioned by HFI.
Fusing the ethnicity of the bahay kubo (nipa hut) and the Hyundai design philosophy of Fluidic Sculpture, the architects incorporated into their design elements from nature that also symbolize the great dreams that HFI and GK share for the country: stone symbolizes the strength and stability of a shared advocacy for Green Innovation; bamboo, Filipino resilience and community spirit; and glass, the goal of HCGI to be the guide and light of the Filipino, especially the youth, to become innovators and stewards of the environment in their communities.
HCGI is now the venue of choice for “Green Camps,” training modules on best practices in environmental stewardship and innovation for academic and business communities
